Save Zulumoon Gondolas

My name is Jeff Livingston. I am raising funds for Zulumoon Gondolas, our small business based on the Durban Point Waterfront Canal in South Africa. It is a SMME and a sole prop that has been running since 2004. We have a small team of 7 people some of whom are not represented in the image. We run Gondola boat rides on the Durban Point Waterfront Canal. We have been badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
To save Zulumoon Gondolas in Durban during the coronavirus crises and keep paying our staff until Durban returns to a more normal way of living. We are a small local and very proudly South Africa business with loyal long-serving staff. As an example:- Bongani Xaba has been with us for 16 years, Percy Mnelisi for over 12 and Rodney Shabalala for over 5. Zulumoon Gondolas has become a Durban icon and we love giving Durban something very unique in the world of Tourism.
Since the onset of the coronavirus, our business has been forced to close over what is one of our peak seasons which carries us through the year. We need help now so that when it is over we can continue with the business and keep the jobs of our team which represent not only the individuals but their families as well. We have seen steady growth in this small business but since the onset of the coronavirus, our income has dropped to nothing. Please help us to get from here to there and keep afloat. When this is all over when we see you again we would love to look you in the eye and give you our heartfelt thanks that we have survived with your kind help.
Reaching our target will mean that we are able to keep Zulumoon Gondolas alive. It will mean that our staff will be able to provide food for their families and have a roof over their heads.
The funds will be used to pay all fixed overhead costs as staff wages/salaries over the period of closure. As this is a sole prop and essentially a micro-enterprise the funds will go into my bank account that has been used for the business since it’s inception in 2004.
