And so …. we did. ——- Eventually anyway.
Stopping the Wheel
Who would have thought that “stopping the wheel” and pausing the “machinery” that makes our world go round – would be so very difficult and so devastating. Really it should be a gift – but mostly it is not an easy time at all. On the flip side I have seen much generosity – kindness and care even from those who can least afford the energy and resources to do so. It has been a very humbling and scary time. Each day brings new challenges as we deal with a vast spectrum of impact and the social expectations that encase each of these “pause pods”
Pause Pods
I claim this phrase. I love it and hate it – all at the same time! What is your pause pod like? I do hope that someone has asked you – in detail. You too can be that someone – for another – less or more fortunate than you – just do it. Some questions to ask :-
- How are you really doing in this time?
- Do you …..
- have food?
- still have a job?
- have a place to stay?
- Are there bills you suddenly can’t pay?
- What will happen at month end – can you manage that?
You don’t have to have all the answers – but ASK. Yes – be vulnerable – be kind – Imagine if you had some or all of these things missing.

Our Story is that we love people. We value people. Everyone. Zulumoon Gondolas has had to close for the shutdown and that is devastating for us – so we are trying to stay afloat so that when this all passes we can continue to provide employment for our wonderful staff. We will support them as much as we can over this time, financially and emotionally. We need to know how they are.
Love the people in your story – do it well – do it HARD and long.
