[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]These are some strange, surreal weird times we are in but we don’t have to drown in all that is happening, we can keep our heads above the water and look for the fun moments to enjoy in life.
It was our 23rd wedding anniversary and we decided to celebrate a little differently. Starting with watching the sunrise and then heading to the Durban Point Waterfront Canal to take a few pictures and just be silly and in the moment. After that, we decided to a little bit of shopping and lunch at some beautiful spots around Durban.
Dancing in Polka dots
Because sometimes we just have to dance! Dance through the storms, Dance through the tough times. If you watched Grey’s Anatomy you will remember Christine and Meredith regularly just “danced it out”! Shake it off! Shake off the day and all its troubles. I randomly find myself dancing in shops to the shop music, whatever it may be, or I just turn up the radio while I clean and dance!
“Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can.”Danny Kaye
Pause for a moment
Just stop sometimes. Pause and Be still. Sometimes we need to get away from the pressures of life and do something for our soul. When we are feeling ourselves getting heavy just get out of the house, go to the ocean, anywhere near nature. It revives us and gives us energy for the next few days.
“One way to get the most out of life is to look upon it as an adventure.” William Feather
Reflections
Often when we stop for a while we can reflect a bit inward and see where we have gone wrong. We can make better decisions with a clear and uncluttered mind. Often we also find beauty in the small things and become grateful for things we might have taken for granted.
“Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” Robert Breault
Remember your yesterdays, Seize your today’s and dream your tomorrow’s! Let us not get swept away by the harsh currents or blown and tossed around by the wind. Take one day at a time, be intentional and make it meaningful.
“ The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for a newer and richer experience.”Eleanor Roosevelt
