Lockdown Day 1
Well – this is it – Lockdown day 1. Zulumoon Gondolas is closed during this period and it feels very strange to me – to us and I am sure to all of you.
I feel full of fear one moment and full of faith the next. What a time to be alive.
Presidents Speech
Wow – we were blown away. What an incredible speech. We have always been Proudly South African but it just doubled while watching that. This thing – this virus – has us and the entire world on it’s knees.
I don’t know about you but it makes me re-look at everything.
- My heart
- My kids
- People
- Freedoms we took for granted
- Friends
- Family
- Church
- Government
- Italy
- China
- Time
- Life
I have always stood by the value in our little company that people – ARE ALL IMPORTANT. ALL THE TIME.
Now more than ever I feel a strong love for people both here in our beautiful and wonderful Rainbow Nation as well as all over the world. I feel a compassion that at times is overwhelming. We are all in this together and it is bigger than us all.
What a pity money governs our lives – imagine a world where we didn’t need it. We can’t eat it – drink it – or take it with us when we die – but we all live by its power to some degree.
I am encouraged by people especially in South Africa – as I see love community bonding even though they are seperated and have to practice social distancing. People are reaching out and becoming more selfless – we need more of this. We desperately do.
I will try to use this scary time to learn – to change – to hear God – to love more – to listen more – to be still.
What are your goals? Would love to hear them
